We have integrated your email capture form to automatically capture users names and add them to a MailChimp email list.

MailChimp uses a two step process, called a double opt in.  

Step 1 - Site visitors will input their email into the Email Capture form in the StickyApp website.

Step 2 - Mail chimp will email a link to anyone who signs up, they need to confirm they would like to be added to your list. Once they have confirmed they wish to be added to your email list, in MailChimp.

Through MailChimp you can customized additional thank you and confirmation pages to reflect your clients brand and messaging.   

  • Confirmation "Thank You" Page - This shows for the subscriber after they click on the confirmation email. 
    Behind the scenes MailChimp will collect and store the subscriber's IP address as well as the date and time of the confirmation. You can view all of this in your clients MailChimp subscriber profile. This  is useful information that you can be used at a later time, if you need to prove someone opted into your list.  
  • Final "Welcome" Email - MailChimp has this turned off by default.  You can  enable a final welcome email at any time. This email is sent after the subscriber has confirmed their subscription.  You can use this to send new subscribers additional information (including a file) along with the message.
