What does public / private mean, and how do I switch my apps between private and public?

The terms public and private refer to whether your app is currently online and visible.  (This was previously referred to as online/offline, and you may hear this terminology in some of our support videos).

Public - The app is online and visible to others by using the url.  If you make any changes to your app, they will be visible once published.  Your membership fee is based upon the number of public apps you have.

Private - The app is offline and only visible to you in the StickyApps builder.

Changes to the public/private status take effect as soon as the update is made.  You can change this in the App Details section when editing an app.

Note:  Marketing Apps will NOT have this toggle as they are always on and do not count towards the total number of StickyApps included in your membership.
