To set up the email capture first sign into your StickyApps account and click on Apps.  Then click edit next to the app you would like to enable StickyApps using.

1. Scroll down below the App Details section - and you will find one called email capture. Click on the box to open the section.

2.  You will need to turn the feature on by clicking the button next to "Email Capture Enabled".  You will know the feature is on once the button is green.  This will show the email capture box each time someone views the app.

3. Add the Notification Email:  This is where an email is sent with the email captured - each time someone enters their information.  You will want to have this go directly to your client so that they can update their email list in MailChimp or another email service. They also receive a report of all emails captured at the end of the month.

 

4. Optional - add a Mailchimp API code to connect the submissions to your MailChimp account. Learn out to find your API code here: Finding your API code in MailChimp

Note - For this feature to work there needs to be at least one list created in MailChimp and the list from the drop down for this feature to work.

5. Add a Headline: This is where you grab their attention to let them know why they should input their email.  Some suggestions are - Sign Up for Great Deal, Find Out the Latest News.

6. Add a description: This will let them know more specifically what they are signing up to receive, such as a newsletter, deals or other information about the business.

7. Add a Thank you Message - Add the thank you message that displays after an email is entered.

8. Select the submit Button Color and Text and add option to collect the customers name.

You can change the button color, the wording for on the button and the text color.
